CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Petrobras, Pedro Pullen Parente started his career in public service at Banco do Brasil, in 1971, and in 1973 was transferred to the Central Bank, in both cases through public sector recruitment examinations. Parente was a consultant of the International Monetary Fund and of public institutions in Brazil, including Departments of State and of the 1988 National Constituent Assembly, and served in various positions in the Government’s economic area. He was a Minister of State and the coordinator of the transition team of President Fernando Henrique Cardoso’s administration to President Lula’s. In this period, he played an important role as Chairman of the Energy Crisis Management Chamber. Parente had already been a member and chairman of Petrobras’ Board of Directors. He served as the Executive Vice President (COO) of the RBS Group, and as President and CEO of Bunge Brazil. Since March 2015, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of BM&FBOVESPA.
Roberto Moro is Production and Technology Development Director. At Petrobras for over 30 years, he held various management positions in Engineering at the company. He joined Petrobras as a Construction, Assembly and Installation technician and witnessed the appearance of the first offshore platforms at Engineering, built in the Campos Basin. He was in charge of deep-water Exploration and Production projects for the Roncador, Marlim Sul, and Jubarte fields. After serving as the Venture Implementation Manager for Marlim Sul, in 2012 and 2013, he held the position of general manager of Implementation of Stationary Production Unit Ventures II. Also in 2013, he took over as the executive manager of Engineering for Submarine Ventures.
Solange da Silva Guedes
Solange da Silva Guedes is Exploration and Production Director. She joined Petrobras in 1985, in the former Southeast Production Region (RPSE). She has held various managerial positions in Exploration and Production, including that of sector manager for the Marlim Sul Asset Reservoirs of the then Rio de Janeiro Exploration and Production Business Unit (UN-Rio), currently the Rio de Janeiro Exploration and Production Operations Unit (UO-Rio). In 2003, she took over as the Executive Manager for E&P North-Northeast (E&P-NNE), where she remained until 2008, when she was appointed Executive Manager of Production Engineering (E&P-ENGP). In 2013, she was appointed executive manager of E&P-CORP, responsible for the two departments' activities.
Jorge Celestino Ramos
Jorge Celestino Ramos is Refining and Natural Gas Director. He joined Petrobras in 1983 and the positions he has held at the company include that of marketing manager for the Isaac Sabbá Refinery (Reman), from 1996 to 1999. That same year, he took over as the Executive Manager for Operations at Petrobras Distribuidora, where he remained until 2002. He was then appointed as the Industrial executive manager at Petrobras Distribuidora's Lubricant Factory, where he remained until 2003. He held two other positions at Petrobras Distribuidora: Manager of the East Consumer Regional Department, from 2003 to 2005, and Manager of Marketing for Industry and Thermal, from 2005 to 2007. Also in 2007, he returned to the position of executive manager for Operations at the subsidiary, where he remained until 2014, when he returned to Downstream, taking over as the Executive Manager for Logistics.
Ivan de Souza Monteiro
Ivan de Souza Monteiro is Financial and Investor Relations Director. Monteiro served as the vice president of Financial Management and Investor Relations at Banco do Brasil from 2009 to 2015, where he held the positions of executive manager of the International Board, commercial superintendent, of general manager at BB's branches in Portugal and New York, and of Commercial Director. He was the chairman of the Supervisory Board of BB AG, the bank's subsidiary in Austria, served as vice president of BB Investment Bank, BB ELO Cartões Participações S.A., BB Leasing S.A. Arrendamento Mercantil, and BB Administradora de Cartões S.A.; he also served on the Board of Directors of companies of the likes of Banco Votorantim, BV Participações, BB SH-2 MAPFRE, Ultrapar, and BB Seguridade.
Hugo Repsold Júnior
Hugo Repsold Júnior is Human Resources, HSE and Services Director. He has been on the Petrobras workforce since 1985. He devoted six years to production operations in the Campos Basin, followed by eight years in international exploration and production activities at former Braspetro. He held the position of Corporate Executive Manager for the Gas and Energy area between 2012 and 2015, after serving, in 2011, as the Executive Manager for Corporate Performance and as the Executive Manager for Strategy, in the same area. Previously, he had served in various managerial positions in the Corporate E&P area since 1999, until reaching the position of General Manager of Strategy and Management for the E&P Portfolio, which he headed from 2006 to 2010.
João Adalberto Elek Junior
João Adalberto Elek Junior is Governance and Compliance Director. Previously, he served as the CFO of Fibria Celulose, where he also held the investor relations, risk control and management, and finance positions. He also served as the Financial and Investor Relations Director at the NET telecom carrier. Additionally, he held the positions of Executive Director and Financial Director at American carrier AT&T for Brazil and Latin America, respectively. João Elek Junior also has approximately 20 years of experience at Citibank, where he served as CFO in the retail area.
Nelson Luiz Costa Silva is the Executive Director of Strategy, Organization, and Management System. He has a career spanning over 40 years, with 25 years of international experience, and has resided in Mexico, Belgium, Japan, Argentina, France, and England. For 17 years, he held a number of executive positions at Vale, including serving as the global commercial director for Iron Ore. He also served as the CEO of ALL-América Latina Logística and as the CEO of Embraer Europe. He was the worldwide president for Aluminum at BHP Billiton, and its commercial director of iron ore, coal, and manganese. In 2009, Nelson Silva joined the BG Group, in charge of people and of the group's business in South America. He served as the chairman of Comgás from October 2009 to November 2012, and as CEO of BG in Brazil until the group’s recent sale to Shell.
