Mitigating Climate Changes
We seek to work efficiently and develop products with lower residue emissions. This is all part of our contributions to work sustainability and contribute to mitigating global climate changes.
We know the climate changes the planet is going through are a consequence of the activities mankind has carried out and that they have damaging effects.
So what can be done? This is the question our research projects seek to answer. Our goal is to provide technological solutions to reduce the intensity of the greenhouse gas emissions (GGE) in our processes and products.

Because of this, we have developed technological solutions to mitigate the impact our activities have on water resource and on the ecosystems. Our research aims at assessing, recovering and conserving the ecosystem and
biodiversity; working with eco-efficiency; reducing residue generation, among others.
Technology is our ally in working on the bottom of the sea or in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest. In each refinery, in each one of our products, we are concerned with the area that surround our plants and with the community.
