We have discovered natural gas in Peru, after drilling the Picha 2X exploratory well to a final depth of 4,400 meters. This is our second discovery made in Lot 58, in Cuzco, near Camisea.
The first discovery, called Urubamba 1X, was made in late 2009. Preliminary estimates indicate that, together, the two exploratory wells contain a potential and recoverable volume of gas estimated at 1.7 TCF (48 billion cubic meters).
