For the sixth year in a row, Petrobras was the most recalled brand by Brazilian consumers in the "Fuel" category of the Folha Top of Mind Awards. The awarding ceremony was held last Tuesday (10/26) evening, in São Paulo.
We have been leading the ranking of most recalled brands when it comes to fuel since 2005. In this edition, 23% of all interviewee responses, especially among younger people and men, emphasized our brand.
The Folha Top of Mind Award was created 20 years ago by the Datafolha Research Institute for the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper as a way to acknowledge the brands Brazilian consumers recall the most. This 2010 edition had 52 categories, 40 of which in differentiated products and 12 in special categories.
The award is the outcome of an annual survey done via a sampling of the entire adult Brazilian population.
Award figures:
- 5228 Interviews: divided into two groups with men and women
- aged 16 years or more
- all social and schooling levels
- margin of error of two percentage points more or less, within a 95% confidence level
- survey coverage: 160 districts spread across all States and the Federal District.
