We are once again present in the Brazilian F1 GP, scheduled for November 7 in São Paulo. We acquired the rights to name the Brazilian stage of the competition, which will be called Formula 1 Petrobras Brazilian Grand Prix.
You will see the Petrobras brand on the podium, on the trophies, uniforms, and in several places around the José Carlos Pace racetrack, in Interlagos.
This year, we were also responsible for creating the trophies that will be delivered to the winners. The inspiration came from the fuel, represented by a green and yellow 3D drop.
To publicize the event, ads will be published in the main national magazines and in the official guide for the Brazilian GP highlighting our cutting-edge technology; "Petrobras. The fuel of the green and yellow fans."
Promotions at the Petrobras Service Stations
The Petrobras service stations in São Paulo (capital city and the metropolitan region) are holding a promotion associated to the Brazilian GP. Anyone who fills up with Podium or Supra gasoline (30 liters) or Podium diesel (40 liters) gets an exclusive poster of the Formula 1 Petrobras Brazilian Grand Prix.
The roar of the engine on the streets
Anyone who is in São Paulo can also see a replica of a F1 race car. The car, painted green and yellow and bearing the same identity as the advertising campaign, will be parked on busy streets of the city. A presence sensor installed in it will detect approaching pedestrians and trigger a sound identical to that of a F1 car engine.
4D simulators in shopping centers
During this week, we will install three next-generation 4D Formula 1 simulators at the Vila Olimpia, Iguatemi, and Morumbi shopping centers in which people can test their skills in the virtual Interlagos circuit.
Spotlightman
In another promotional action that got underway on October 30, we took the Spotlightman project to the streets of the capital city of São Paulo. In this project, a promoter carries a high-resolution portable projector to show vignettes and commercials about Petrobras in places with large circulation of people.
Paper toys
We also created an action on the Internet to allow all motorsport fans to become F1 drivers. Simply go to the site and choose the colors of the uniform, the helmet, upload a photo, and put your custom paper toy together.
