  • Aviation Fuels

    The aircraft that fly in the Brazilian airspace are supplied at the airports and air clubs in Brazil with our fuel, world-renowned in the aviation segment. As the only producers in the domestic market, we market kerosene and aviation fuel to the distributors and guarantee not only the delivery, but the quality of these products pursuant to the best international practices.

    Aviation Kerosene (QAV-1)

    Aviation kerosene, also known as QAV-1, is the fuel used by airplanes and helicopters equipped with turbine engines, such as pure jet, turboprops, or turbofans.

    Our kerosene's thermal stability ensures the aircraft's performance. Because it is more stable, QAV-1 also allows the time between scheduled aircraft maintenance to be increased, reducing costs for airlines and airplane and helicopter owners.

    We developed the Quality Assurance System for Aviation Kerosene which has systematized quality monitoring procedures. The laboratory tests and assays are checked periodically by means of audits and inter-lab programs.

    The kerosene we produce is compatible wit the Jet A-1 specifications laid down by the AFQRJOS (Aviation Fuel Quality Requirements for Jointly Operated Systems).

    BR JET PLUS

    Aviation Kerosene with Additives (QAV-1)

    We market BR Jet Plus, an aviation kerosene that receives an antifreeze additive with fungicidal properties, via Petrobras Distribuidora.

    Solidary Fuel

    BR Jet Plus supplies aircraft in Brazil and reverts part of its sales revenues to social projects developed in the communities that neighbor the Brazilian airports that sell the product.

    The "BR Jet Plus - Solidary Fuel" project aims to contribute to developing skills and capabilities of children and to the social reintegration and professional qualification of adolescents.

    Aviation Gasoline (GAV-1)

    Aviation fuel, also known as GAV, is used predominantly by small aircraft that have spark ignition engines.

    Small aircraft include airplanes used in private aviation, in agriculture, to train pilots, for minor commercial aviation and in experimental and competition aircraft.

    Aviation fuel has special characteristics that are controlled by means of strict laboratory tests. That is how we guarantee its quality standard, compliance with specifications, and, thus, its good performance in the engines.

    As the name says, this fuel is made solely for aircraft. Aviation fuel should not be used in automotive vehicles.
