Our Performance Management model covers all employees at all levels of the organizational structure. It is used as a benchmark for salary-level advancements and promotions and evaluates employees based on their goals and skills. Aligned with the company's strategy, the goals are divided from top to bottom in the organization, favoring a better understanding of the results employees are expected to achieve. In our skill management system, we identify individual and organizational skills that are divided in a goal and development master plan: the Plan for Human Resource Development (PDRH).
All employees have their performance assessed annually. The employee and his or her manager analyze the work done and the results attained and assess the opportunity to develop and grow the employee within the company.
The Individual Skill Development Program provides training to the employees on the issue. In 2010, 772 managers, 37 employees holding specialized positions, and 3,251 non-specialist employees took part in the Program.
